City of Marquette Fire Works
Marquette's Fourth of July Holiday Celebration! There is the parade (at 2pm), a boat show, and fireworks (at dark).
In case of rain,the fireworks will be held on July 5th. For more info visit www.marquettejuly4th.org. The parade will proceed down Washington Street.
Ishpeming Parade
Ishpeming 4th of July Parade. 10:30am Community Parade: The 26th Annual 4th of July Parade will begin at the corner of Third and Empire Streets. The Parade continues down Third Street to Cleveland Avenue, Main Street and Division Street where units will disband at Division/Seventh.
Ishpeming Community Picnic
Annual Community Picnic will be held at the Al Quaal Recreation Area immediately following the parade. The Community Picnic offers something for everyone: food, children's games, IHS Alumni Softball Tournament and live music. No carry in of alcoholic beverages will be permitted. Beer & Wine will be sold on site. Proceeds to benefit the 4th of July Committee. IDs will be checked & wristbands will be issued to purchase beer & wine. Food Booths; Kid's Crafts, Games and Activities. 1:00 BINGO; 3:00 Children's Field Games Begin. 1pm to 4pm "Escape"; 5pm to 9pm "Decades". Fireworks will be diplayed at dusk.
